Death #1

Second Death

Death #2

The second to die is Mrs. Rogers. She passes away in her sleep.

At first it was speculated that Mrs. Rogers committed suicide, but then the husband was accused of her death to hide their crime.

Armstrong sees that two of the china figures were missing and Lombard connects the poem to the two deaths. He concludes there is a murderer and they need to find where Mr. Owen could be hiding on the island.

The sixth death to occur was Justice Wargrave. He died due to a gunshot wound to his forehead.

Lombard states that the only way to prove your innocence, is for you to die.

Seventh Death

The seventh person to die was Dr. Armstrong. Although h was the 7th, they couldn't find Armstrong. They decided to hunt him down, but thn heard a cry and thud.

Thy go back to discover Blore crushed by marble. Even so late in the story the killer still follows the nursery rhyme.

Eighth Death

Death #8

The eigth person to die was Blore. His death occured while they were searching for Armstrong. Since Armstrong couldn't be found at the time, Vera suspected he was the killer. They later found his body.

With the realization that Vera and Lombard are the only ones left, they decide each as the killer. As they take Armstrongs body back into his house, Vera stole Lombards revolver and shot him through the heart.

Ninth Death

Death #9

The ninth death was Lombard. Lombards death was the first death that was not murdered by the killer Due to paranoia, Vera decided to kill him first before he could get to her.

Tired from everything, Vera goes back into the mansion and hads to her bedroom

Tenth Death

Death #10

The tenth person to die is Vera. She committed suicide as she finally admitted her guilt.

The murderer was Wargrave. His twisted sense of serving justice pushed him to do this. He fake his initial 'death' and later killed himself after Vera.

The only way anyone ever figured out what had happened was because he confessed to everything in a bottled letter that wouldn't be found until years later.

Third Death

Death #3

The third person to die was General MacArthur. He was killed by a strike to his head.

This chapter confirms that the killer is amongst them. Wargrave takes lead in the discussion, asserting his authority within the group.

Fourth Death

Death #4

The fourth person to die was Mr. Rogers. He died to an ax blow to the back of his head.

Mr. Rogers death heightened the tension on the island, as there was no longer someone trying to push normalcy.

They began to become paranoid of each other.

Fifth Death

Death #5

The fifth death was Emily Brent. She died due to an injection to the neck. Her death vaused them to initally blame Armstrong, but shifted blame when thy realized his syringe was gone.

Wargrave then insists everyone turns in their weapons. Lmbard didn't want to part with his revolver and they agreed.
