After taking the Traffic Light Skills Audit survey I found that I am strongest in Numeracy. I am quite confident with my mathematical skills and find that information in tables, charts and graphs helps put things into perspective for me.

Time and Self Management
I am rather good when it comes to Time and Self Management. I am yet to work out which career path I want to take so I am not sure about what goals to set in that area. Despite that, I keep myself organised and due dates in mind so I keep ahead in my work. I arrive on time and when I have important work to do I am able to ignore distractions.

Critical Thinking and Problem Solving
My next strongest area is Critical Thinking and Problem Solving. When working on complex problems I break them down into simple parts and consider alternative solutions. If needed I will seek help by asking a peer or my teacher for their input.

Oral Communication
Oral Communication is one of my weaker areas and I believe this is because I am not confident when it comes to presenting my work or ideas to others. I always value the opinion of others but I am often too doubtful about my own opinions to share. To improve in this area I will try to contribute more to group discussions and once netball season has started volunteer by working on the canteen or selling raffle tickets. This voluntry work will get me involved with my community and will force me to communicate with many different people. Practising my presentation skills and taking on feedback are also ways to improve my Oral Communication skills.
Information Literacy: Reading
Information Literacy: Reading
I found that I am weakest in Information Literacy: Reading. I need to work on my note taking as often I don't later understand my notes. I also should use a wider variety of resources when gathering information. I figure out what I need to find before I start reading and sometimes take notes under sub-headings to organise my information.
