Biography
Name: Samuel S. Lucas D. Yurique Ncolas K.
Born on July 10, 1856 in Smiljan in the then Austrian Empire, Nikola Tesla was a Serbian inventor, electrical engineer and mechanical engineer, known for his contributions to the electrical field, more specifically in the development of Alternating Current (AC/AC).
In the 1870s he studied, but did not graduate, in engineering and physics, gaining practical experience in the 1880s working in telephony and at Continental Edison (electric power industry).
Still in the USA and with private financing, Tesla continued trying to develop inventions that he could commercialize and patent, conducting series of experiments with mechanical oscillators/generators, electrical discharge tubes and radiography.
