Inventions in the 1400s-1500s

1400-Golf

The game was created in Scottland. At the time, the golf ball was made only out of wood. It is important because it lead to a fun game people could play and master.

Oil paints were used to paint over certain metals and other canvases that were difficult to paint over with normal paint. Artists like Leonardo Da Vinci and Michaelangelo used the paints in this time period. This is important because many more historical paintings were being made.

These spectacles were created with polished lenses. This made it easier for people with nearsidedness to see better. It was created by Nicholas de Cusa. It is important because it was a solution for people who couldn't see object close to them.

This is a technique used by Albrecht Durer. The technique was made by scratching an image directly into a board. This is important because it is now a technique used by many famous artists.

These were invented in Germany It created better accuracy. It is any gun that has the projectile and propellant loaded from the muzzle. This is important because people coucld now shoot more objects with a better accuracy.

Bell chimes were used to make different sound. Whether it be music or attention calling. Bell chimes are important because they were a gateway to different types of musical pieces.

This invention was made by Da Vinci. The parachute was made with linen cloth that covered the pyramid portion of it. It was connected by wooden poles. This was important because people now knew that they could jump ooff things without being seriously hurt.
