Captain Bobby Nash is a firefighter who works for the Los Angeles Fire Department. He had a wife and two kids who died in a fire that he accidentally caused. He is also a recovered alcoholic and drug abuser.

Evan Buckley or Buck is a firefighter who works for the Los Angeles Fire Department. He was fired due to him having intercourse with multiple women, including one of the patients he had to help. Although he is brought back into the job. Over time, his relationship with Abby Clark grows and eventually, they grow to be a couple, although they are 16 years apart in age.

Howie Han, sometimes referred to as Chimney, is a firefighter and paramedic who works for the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Henrietta Wilson, better known as Hen, is a firefighter and paramedic who works for the Los Angeles Fire Department. In the show, she is homosexual, she have girlfriend and she also had a lover in prison.

I recommend it because it is a very good serie, it combines police cases with family life and personal problems of each one, it is seen how emergencies are solved (most real cases) and among them there is more than one love.
