Daniel is a regular kid just like you and me. he does normal things like reads books, plays outside, and watches TV. Then one day that all changes when he moves to noble green. he moves to noble green to be with his sick grandma that will probably die soon. his family wants to spend time with her before she passes. then Daniel discovers that a few of the kids in noble green have superpowers. He joins their club to then find out that when you turn thirteen, your powers go away and you lose your memory of having them. Daniel one night decides to stay with his friend that is turning thirteen to see if he can stop whatever is taking their powers. He stays the night to then see a dark tentacle thing floating in the air with a green heart. he tries to fight it but he ends up getting slashed in the arm and thrown out the window. HE wakes up in a hospital bed eager to find out what that thing was. read the book to see if Daniel discovers this mystery, and saves his friends.
the setting of this book takes place in noble green, the town that Daniel lives in. it has a lot of trees, mountains, and wildlife, a calm and pleasant town. the year it takes place in is around the early 2000's.
some reasons you should read this book is, it has a very a interesting plot and characters. it also has a lot of action and fights with monsters, and supernatural abilities. the type of reader that i would recommend this book to would be someone that likes mystery and action. it is a really good book to start reading if you want a fun yet suspenseful story. my star rating is five out of five
i think the theme was loyalty and bravery are always the right answer. i could tell by when Daniel fought and risked his life to save his friends, and even though he had temptations he remained loyal to his friends
