Beginning Summary
Billy, who lives with his mom and sister in Florida, gets a check with an address from his father. Billy decides to fly to Montana to see his dad and get to know him. He meets his step sister Summer and gets to know her. They go to Yellowstone park so that they can pick up his dad's car. While they are there, Billy goes into the woods and gets a message on a drone from his dad saying that he needs to leave right now. He finds Summer and Lil to go back to their house and then travels back to Florida without meeting his Dad.

While he is outside his house, a drone flies by and he uses his slingshot to hit it because he thinks it is his dad's drone. A surfer comes to collect the drone and leaves but Billy gets suspicious because the surfer wasn't mad. Billy discovers that his dad sent the surfer to his house and that his dad might be in Florida. Billy finds his dad at a hotel and wants to talk to him but his dad runs away. He has to tackle him. His dad tells Billy he never called because he was scared and that he isn't a government agent. He hunts poachers because he wants to save the animals.

His dad, Summer, and he find out the poacher is on the move. Summer and Billy go to Yellowstone Park and see the poacher. Somehow the poacher has their dad tied up. They make a plan to rescue him. First they use the drone to drop a pocket knife to their dad. Billy's dad cuts himself free but he is limping and they lose him in the forest. Suddenly, they hear something coming and they think it is a bear but it is their dad. Their dad tries to get the poacher but loses him in the forest. Although the poacher got away Billy is really excited because he finally has his dad back.

My opinion on the book is that it was great. I would not change anything about the book. I enjoyed all of the settings and characters. Over all it was a real adventure I sometimes felt like I was in the book myself.
