I studied well, and I became one of the best lawyers in Halifax. After my work as a lawyer, I joined and led the Conservative Party for 20 years. As I already have said I am considered as one of the fathers of The Confederation in Canada. My 3 daughters havecarried out my legacy in their own ways, especially my daughter Eliza Ritchie. Eliza Ritchie studied at Dalhouse University and graduated with a PhD. Eliza Ritchie was also the first woman in Canadian history to earn a PhD. My other daughter Ella is an artist
