Summary
Act 2
Romeo sneaks in the Capulet family garden where he hears Juliet confess her love for him.Friar Laurence,Romeo,and Juliet,devise a plan for the young lover's marriage.
Act 3
Mercutio and Tybalt duel in the street and Mercutio is fatally wounded;Romeo avenges Mercutio and kills Tybalt.Romeo is banned from Verona and Juliet is filled with grief.
Act 4
Juliet threatens suicide if the Friar cant save her from marrying Paris.The Friar gives her a sleeping potion to make her to appear dead.Juliet's family find her in the deathlike sleep and plans her funeral.
Act 1
A street fight breaks out between the Montagues and the Capulets.These families have a ongoing feud.Romeo Montague sneaks into a Capulet ball and meets Juliet,where they immediately fall in love;Later finding out,that their families are at war.

'Loyal,' 'devoted,' 'funny' and 'witty' are just a few of the words that describe Romeo's best friend, Mercutio, in William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. He is neither a Montague nor a Capulet, but he is more than just an interested party in the epic family feud.With these characteristics Seth Rogen could fill this role as Mercutio since rogen himself takes the same characteristics in any other role he had.
Journal entry
For the journal entry I have chose Romeo. After the encounter on the balcony, Romeo fell madly in love with Juliet. After the balcony, it seemed as if Romeo only had thought about her, instead of anything else. Romeo was actually so in love with Juliet he eventually kills himself because he thinks shes dead. But that love goes both ways, after Juliet wakes she see's Romeos dead body and kills herself from sadness of his death. Romeo thinks of Juliet as cars think of fuel.

TOPIC 5
Tybalt was a hotheaded, loyal swordsman who thought he was protecting the Capulet name. In the end, Tybalt's anger and quick temper resulted not only in his own death, but in the death of Mercutio, which all ultimately led to the suicide of Romeo and Juliet.
Robert Downey Jr (Friar Laurence)
Friar Laurence is presented as a holy man who is trusted and respected by the other characters. The Friar's role as the friend and advisor to Romeo and Juliet highlights the conflict between parents and their children within the play.I think Robert Downey Jr. should play Friar Laurence since it would be a twist to his type of roles since he hasn't played a role where he was a respected character such as in Iron Man he is seen more as annoying,egotistical,and self-absorbed.

Romeo Montague was a young man and the lover of Juliet Capulet.Romeo committed suicide by drinking poison after seeing his dead lover on the ground and could not bear living a life without her.Romeo should be remembered for his dying love and dedication for his lover Juliet.Romeo loved Juliet even though their families were hated each other.He struggled to stay in their relationship even after being banned from Verona.At the end he died next to his beloved.

Gnomeo and Juliet And Romeo and Juliet are similar in many ways, one is that they are both about love, another reason is they are both about people from a opposite rival family that hate each other. Another reason I can think of is that there is a reference in Gnomeo and Juliet to William Shakespeare / the author of Romeo and Juliet
Moral
The moral of Romeo and Juliet is letting old family wounds go, and not letting your emotions rule your life. The Montague and the Capulets have let an old family rivalry take over their lives. They refuse to have anything to with each other.
