Summary

Summary

All the Impossible Things is about a girl named Red. She is in foster care because her mom is in prison for drugs. Many of Reds fosters usually send her back but when the Grooves took her in that seemed that would not happen. The Grooves have many interesting pets. They have two llama named Lancelot and Merlin, a donkey named Fezzik, Alfonzo and Flicka were the horses,a giant tortoise named Tuck Everlasting, three dogs named Frodo,Bronte, and Gandalf and three goats. Red spent many great holidays with the Grooves but on Christmas Ms Groove, also known as Celine, got sick and rushed to the hospital. They diagnosed her with cancer but more specifically she had pseudomyxoma peritonei. Later on Reds mom gets out prison and they get to hang out at the aquarium. On the way to reds moms house they got into a fight. They got home but the fight just got worse. Red was getting madder and madder and she could not hold it no longer. She released her tornado. The tornado made the most damage to an abandoned car dealership. After that Red went back to the Grooves. By the end of the book the Grooves make an amazing announcement.

Recommendation

Recommendation

The reasons I would recommend people to read this book is because it is very good and has drama. It tells you a how a girl delt with being in foster care and having to switch schools so often. It also shows how she tries to keep her wind in and what happened when she didn't. I would think people that like fantasy and that like books that deal with drama. I would definitely give this book five stars.

Theme

Theme

I would say the theme is Have faith in yourself and in others because Red had to have faith in herself in order to be able to control her wind. Red also had faith in her mom and believed she could me a great mom to her and that could stop taking pills.
