What is fire stick farming

Indigenous Australians who often use fire to burn greenery to facilitate hunting

Is a practice of fire stick farming.

Fire stick farming is described as a way aboriginals use fire regularly to burn land.

It turns scrub into grass land witch expands the number of grass eating animals.

Some concerns are carbon dioxide being polluted into the atmosphere

This can saturation be reduced by burning early in the dry season

Step by step

The aboriginals got the fire starting with an easy and simply technique. When the fire started, the aboriginals waited until the fire was in the areas they wanted to burn. After the fire was in it’s aboriginals patted the fire down with a stick in their hand or they used spears. That is why the aboriginals they can start a new lot of grass and food also if they did not use the fire the grass will get to long and start a huge bush wild fire that can rip out their land.
