First, light goes to the cornea. The cornea is the transparent part of the eye that covers the iris and the pupil and allows light to enter. The iris is the colorful part of your eye that gives it its blue, green, hazel, brown or dark appearance. The pupil, or black dot at the center of the eye, is an opening through which light can enter the eye. Then, light passes through the pupil to the lens behind it. The lens adjusts its shape to bend and focus the light a second time, to ensure that you have a clear image of what you are looking at. Then, light passes from the lens to the back of the eye called the vitreous until it reaches the retina, the light-sensitive layer at the back of the eye. Then, nerves of the retina collect all of the electrical impulses, which then travel through the optic nerve at the very back of the eye up to the occipital lobe in the back of the brain.

Pupils automatically gets bigger or smaller, depending on the intensity of the light.
The iris is actually made up of muscles that expand and contract to control the pupil and adjust its size.
The eye is made up of the cornea, pupil, iris, lens, retina, and the optic nerve.
Rat vision is way different than human vision. The reason why I
chose rat vision is because I
wanted to know what it's like to
see like a rat. Rats see in color.
They have two types of color cones in the retina; one for detecting blue ultraviolet light and one for detecting shades of green. Rat vision is kind of blurry. Rat do not see well in the dark.
Class: Murinae
Rats see in colors, while humans see using light and creating a image to the brain. Rat eyes are on the side of their face, while humans eyes are in the front of their face. Humans see in normal colors of an object.
An interesting way you can compare human and animal eyes is by comparing their anatomies of human and animal eyes.

Human Eye
How has the structure of human and animal eyes influenced how each live?
They influence how each live by the way they view life and the way they interact with others.
