Athletics and intramural sports program
- The MiraCosta College Athletic department puts an equal emphasis on the academic and athletic achievements of student athletes
- MiraCosta College offers mens and womens soccer, mens and womens basketball, womens indoor and sand volleyball, rugby club, surf club, and various intramural sports.
Athetics Program
- Student Athletes at MiraCosta College must maintain a minimum of a 2.0 GPA to be an eligible athlete and to participate on a college sports team.

Intramural Sports program
- The MiraCosta Intramural Sports program offers free sports events for all enrolled MiraCosta students and staff members.
- The mission is to provide a safe environment, opportunities to meet new people on campus, and events that allow students and staff a chance to stay active doing sports and activities that they enjoy.
