I am talking about nutrients today. Today we will talk about sugar, fats and salt/sodium. Also I will talk about how we can change the way kids/anyone be a bit more healthy by looking at the nutrients in food. Here we go.
So my change I am going to make is that me or anyone acutally can help you be healthy by just know a few things. So what I am doing I will be asking people what they know about nutrients and helping them learn what it means to be healthy and then maybe make some posters or a pamphlet.
Did you know that only woman can have 25grams of sugar a day and men can only have 37.5grams?
Also did you know that to help yourself to know what is healthy sugar! Here you go,
Make sure you choose food that in per serving collumn it says under 10g or if you look in the per 100g collumn look for under 100g!
I am sorry if you cant read this> but basically what is says is that sugar comes from the sugar beets leaves.
Sugar originated from India I tried to look for more infomation but it only came up as Wikipedia.
Did you know that sugar in the sugarcane comes from it being cut into small pieces and then being crushed and then bolied to make sugar crystals and then the grow to make sugar?
Brazil was the largest producer of sugar cane!
Did you know that in Roman times people paid with salt? Yep salt insted of all this money they used salt!
Also did you know that salt is in every cell in our body and an adult contain about 250 Grammes.
Did you know that to get salt out of your body it takes 12hours- 5 days?
This is not exactly about "salt" but if you drown in fresh water it is different than drowing in salt water, what mean is if you drown in salt water your kidney cant handle all the salt so practically your drowing in your own blood! (oh no)
