In the beginning of the book we start out with Starta and her friends finding a robotic horse. they also find a lot of tech but when they turned it on the pipers started chasing them. When they get away they have to get back to the caravan to warn them but they get lost. While they are on their way they come in contact with salt clan soldiers so they have to hide. While they are in a cave hiding pick finds them and says shes the one they are after, then the kids ask for help. Meanwhile at the caravan they are very worried cause they do not know where their kids are. Then they realize pipers are starting to come their way so they start to pack up. They find a good place to go so they will start their journey at sun down.

Now the caravan set out a search party to try and find the kids, Strata's dad is in the search party. Meanwhile Pick has agreed to help the kids find their way home. Then pick tells them that the pipers are named after the story of the pied piper, not the sound they make. Only a little bit after that a piper appears and Starta is stuck in a hole with it and cannot get out. WHOOSH! Pick jumps out of nowhere and kills the piper but only the suit of it. After the fight Pick tells the kids to try not to kill pipers because they will come back in a different suit and attack you. Then Starta gets seperated from the group after getting chased by a piper.

Starting right off with some bad news Pick, Inby and Auger get caught by the salt clan. Meanwhile Starta is getting chased by a huge piper ship. But luckily enough she smashes the orbs and can get out in time. Also the kids make a deal to go back to the caravan and they will give them some animals. Then Starta finds her dad, friends, and the Salt Clan members arranging a deal but, lots of pipers are chasing her so she has to run. But all of the other people help Starta fight off the pipers, but Starta gets caught in a bubble with Keildi and they start floating towards the mother ship. There they meet the emperors eating a lot of tech, then they eat Kieldi but Starta tell her to stop and she chokes the Emperors. Last of all keildi flies back down to earth and tells everyone the great news. But sadly Kieldi had to give her life to save many lives.

The problem is that the kids find lots of tech which got the pipers very mad. Also they get captured by the salt clan.

The solution for the Pipers is that Keidi stops in the Piper leaders throat and chocked them, shutting down all the pipers. And the kids found the caravan and for killing the pipers the salt clan let them go.

The theme of this story is adventure and action, also it is very exciting at all times.

I rate this book a 5/5 because its very exciting at all times but not to fast going. And the whole story makes sense. Amazon rates this book a 3.9/5. I recommend this book to anyone to like adventures and action.
