My company is a service and was created in 1990 to bridge the gap between business and technology to make digital transformation and IT modernization as seamless as possible.

Characteristics

Creative: I created a technology company in 1990 as the computer was becoming accessible.

Flexible: I was able to adapt to the changing demand and supply of computers when they started to become much more popular.

Risk-Taker: My company was not very likely to take off because of the lack of accessibility, and since I was African American, but I did it anyways.

Impacts and Meaning and how it has changed society.

My company has left a positive impact on people, communities, and customers. Also, it helps a broad range of organizations including major hospitals and the department of defense.

The meaning of World Wide Technology is making technology all across the globe closer to business by connecting them together using one company.

Where I'm From

I was born in Chicago, Illinois on July 2, 1951. I moved to Missouri in 1953, and attended Central Missouri State University and graduated in 1973.

Obstacles and Achievments

Two obstacles that I faced was I was born into poverty in Chicago.

And I was living through segregation in the south.

Currently, I have a total networth of $10.3 billion dollars.

I co-founded the world wide technology company, and I became an author. I made the books "Doing Business by the Good Book: 52 Lessons of Success Straight from the Bible" and : "Leadership by the Good Book: Timeless Principles for Making an Eternal Impact."

4 intresting facts about me are, I am one of the only African American billionaires. I have two children. My parents are Harold Steward and Dorothy Steward. And my first company was a consulting firm.
