The mental card is a presentation that will cover the misconceptions presented about mental health in the mainstream media in response to mass shootings.
It will go into detail about the disproportionate representation of the mentally ill with violence, recent mass shootings, and the behavioral science of firearm ownership.

Pulling the mental card is the act or tactic of using mental illness as an excuse for deranged acts of violence such as school shootings and mass shootings. Often used by media outlets and politicians as a deflection of several major underlying issues.
