Skills and knowledge in OAA activities
Due to the dangers with so many outdoor adventurous activities it is essential that the skills and knowledge are safely adhered to.
OAA carry high risks due to the nature of the activities. E.g. snowbaording it is essential to wear warm clothing and safe helmets yo minimise the rsk of hypothermia and/or head injuries
Good communication skills are essential to help each other reduce the risk of accidents. E.g. Rock climbing, communication between the climber and th belayer is crucial, helps to make sure the climber is supported.
