The following strategies have been identified for the design of the distribution of the Toyota Corporation

Number of levels in the channel.

It was established that in the country of origin and abroad its distribution channel is of two levels, since it goes from the official distributor to the various concessionaires, and these concessionaires see how they place the product in the market

Number of intermediaries in each level

Vertical system of distribution in the corporate mode through the operation of wholly-owned subsidiaries and distributors throughout the world and contractual because its channel members (dealers) sign a contract that establishes the period of commercial relationship (minimum three years), exclusivity territorial and the obligation to market only the brands of the factory.
