The saliva and teeth in the mouth start breaking up the food and convert it to mushy ball called Bolus.

The Esophagus is like a strechy pipe that's about 10 inches long, it transfers the food to the stomach.

The stomach is like a mixer,churning and mashing altogether all the small balls of food that come down the Esophagus into smaller and smaller pieces with the help of gasteric juices

Small Intestine

The small intestine is about 1. 5 to 2 inches thick and its packed beneath the stomach. The small intestine breaks down the food mixture even more so your body can absorb all the nutrients.

Pancreas, Liver & Gall Bladder

These organs send different juices to the first part of the small intestine. These juices help to digest food and allow the body to absorb nutrients.

Large Intestine

The large intestine is fatter than the small intestine and it is almost the last stop on the digestive track. Water and minerals are absorbed in the large intestine and leftover is passed out through Rectum.
