1626 the start of the Wurzburg Germany witch trials. the bad weather in the 1620's was causing crop failures, famine and plague. instead of considering natural causes or the mistakes in politicians, people would blame mysterious witches, in league with the devil, for these misfortune.

between the 5 years of the Wurzburg witch trials this part is about the in between from 1627 - 1630. we will be looking at how many deaths there was, who leaded the witch trials and how long the Wurzburg witch trial went for.

there was 157 people burnt on a stake in the city of wurzburg. the victims consist of men, women and children. But there was over 900 deaths in Germany even the person in charge of the witch trials burnt his own nephew which is very horrific to think.

The persecutions were orchestrated by Julius Echter von Mespelbrunn, Prince Bishop of Würzburg, and his nephew Philipp Adolf von Ehrenberg/ dead nephew because of his horrible uncle that burnt him on a stake.
