This is something that General Zaroff uses to attract people so that he can hunt them.It looks as if itThis is something a channel and is if there is land,but instead there are sharp rocks that smash your boat apart,letting General Zaroff hunt however survives.
This is where Rainsford fell from his boat and aparted upon the island.

This is the tree rainsford spent his first night under.He layed out on a big tree branch to keep sight of Zaroff coming.

This is the first tap Rainsford built for Zaroff. This trap did not kill the general but did give him an injury to his shoulder.After getting injured Zaroff went back to his chateao and treated his wounds which gave Rainsford a chance to get farther away.

This is where Rainsford runs to after his first trap dosen work.Once Zaroff goes to his chateau,Rainsford runs the oppisite way where he finds himself in the death swamp begging to sink.He struggled to pull himself out but eventually did.
The Burmese Tiger Trap

This is the second trap that Rainsford makes for Zaroff. He hopes that the general wont notice the trap and that he would fall into the hole and die.Instead the island had other plans and one of the generalś dogś fall in the hole and die.

After running for awhile longer away from General Zaroff and his dogś,Rainsford sets up this trap. This is the last trap that Rainsford sets and it kills Ivan,Zaroffś assistant,but Rainsford intention was to kill Zaroff and his dogs who continued to hunt him down.

The cliff

After running out of options,Rainsford jumps off the cliff into the water. General Zaroff believes that there is no way Rainsford could have survived the jump and believes that he has wont the game.

Atleast thatś what Zaroff thought. What Zaroff doesnt know is hat Rainsford actually did survive. He swam back to Zaroff´s chateau and Rainsford ended up killing Zaroff.
So in the end the winner of the game was Rainsford.
