SIERRA NEVADA DE SANTA MARTA

Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta

The Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta is a coastal mountain system; located to the north of Colombia that constitutes by itself an isolated system of the Andes, on the Caribbean coast of Colombia.

crystal beach

From the arrival to the boats that take you to this beach you feel the magic that this park emanates ... when you get crystal clear waters with coral reefs full of fish that allow you to make a sniffing and enjoy its beauty, good food and in general very great service.

It receives its name from a large mound of sand between two small hills.1 This was used by the locals to start rolling down to the beach by its slope. However, thanks to the breeze it remained covered with sand. That elevation, currently visible from the rock, is still visible south of the area.
