No one child is the same or learns the same. Students must be met and helped to succeed. Every student is on a continuum but not all students are at the same point of the continuum.

When a student is learning about the civil right era, they may organize their learning by good affects and bad affects. They may further identify what goes into each of these categories. This helps the student deepen their learning as well as remember their learning long term.
