  • Internet restrictions - 53 website. There is no internet service except for special usage. Domain is .kp
  • Intranet exists, but only able to access through the government facilities
  • Spend 25% of GNP for military power. Which can feed their whole population without famine
  • Any forms of South Korean entertainment are strictly prohibited, most common being smuggled South Korean soap operas.
  • People risk being sent to manual labor camps if caught or reported to the authorities.
  • Between 150,000 to 200,000 North Koreans live in prison camps, the worst for those who commit political crimes. Often offenders can have their entire extended family imprisoned with them.
  • To this day, more than 12 million suffer from poverty and lack basic human needs. (Almost half of the entire population)
