The Stations of the cross are 14 steps to comemorate Jesus's last day on earth. The stations focus on events on his last day. They are used as a pilgrimage as people move station to station. Specific prayers are recited for each station. The stations begin with Jesus' condemnation and ends with his death.
In this station Jesus stands all alone with Pilate. Nobody stands or defends Jesus. Pilate tells Jesus that he is devoted to helping others. He says that at times he feels lonely. As a child and as an adult
Jesus accepts his cross. He carries his cross to his death. Jesus knew it wouldn't be easy. He still accepted it and carried it.
The cross that jesus carries is heavy. He is becoming very weak. He is almost about to faint and he falls down. The soldiers yell at him.
Jesus feels alone even though he is surrounded by people. He doesn't like the words the crowd yells at him. Jesus sees a friendly face in the crowd. He sees and meets his mother.
The soldiers are becoming impatient. This was taking longer than they thought. They were worried that Jesus won't make it to the hill. They call to Simon to help him.
A woman comes from the crowd. Her name is Veronica. She cares for Jesus and wipes his face. An imprint of Jesus' can be seen in the cloth.
This is the second Jesus falls on the road. It seems that the cross is getting heavier and heavier. He struggles to get back up. He still gets back up.
As Jesus carries his cross, he sees a crowd of women. The women feel sad. Jesus tries to help them.
Jesus' journey have been long. He falls again, beneath his cross. He struggles and he keeps going.
The soilders notice that jesus has something of value. They remove his cloak. His wounds are open.
Jesus is laying stretched out in the cross. Soldiers get big nails for his hands and feet. People have gone mad. He has does good his entire life.
Jesus forgives the soilders who crucified him. He prays for his mother. He has died so we can live.
Jesus has been putten to death. He is gently taken down from the cross. He is put in his mother's lap.
Jesus' body is ready for burial. Joseph gave his tomb to Jesus. What a sad day it is for some people.
It was the first day of the week. The apostles notice that the boulder blocking Jesus' tomb has moved. Jesus' body is missing because he is alive again.
