RAINFORESTS VS DESERTS

Climate

WHAT ARE THEY

  • rainforests are a land form (that recieves lots of rain) that contains more than half of the species in the earth!
  • deserts on the other hand are quite the opposite.

WHAT ARE THEY

INTRDUCTION

TODAY i am going to talk about rainforests and i am going to compare them with deserts about their climate , plants and animals.

INTRODUCTION

Climate

  • Tropical rain forests have a type of tropical climate in which there is no dry season—all months have an average precipitation value of at least 60 mm (2.4 in). In rain forest climates the dry season is very short, and rainfall is normally heavy throughout the year .Cold desert climates are mainly found in temperate zones, usually on the leeward side of high mountains. ... Summers in cold desert climates are hot and dry while winters are cold, dry, and they also lack snow. Deserts that experience this climate are drier than those that lie within the hot desert climate.
