The Korean and the vietam were actully pretty similar in a lot ways. Both these wars had something to do with communism. And for both of them the Americans stepped in to help the communism free side.
Both the Korean and Vietnam Wars had at least one thing to do with communism. For both wars the North was trying to take over the South with communism. Although the ending wasn't the same. In the Korean war some poeple say it was a draw and others say that the south won because North Korea didn't take them over. On the other hand In vietnam that wasn't the same case.
Even though the Korean war was a lot shorter only lasting 3 years there was 2.3 million deaths and the vietnam war lasting 20 years there was 1.2 million deaths. The similarties between the 2 wars is that the deaths were among the local and american troops.

At the end of the Korean was it was very much divided as it was before the war even started. At the end of the Vietnam war North vietnam siezed control of the south vietnam taking control. Meaning the outcomes for the two wars were very diffrent. In both the wars the americans stepped in to help.
