Welcome

Hello kids! How are you?

This week we continue with the first unit of our book: Insight Upper Intermediate.

Remember you don´t need to have the book, all the material is posted here!

Last class we started working with vocabulary and structures to describe Qualities and different ways of looking and we read "The only way is forward". We will continue and we will also revise various tenses (most of them we have fortunately revised in class before).

So, let´s continue!

Task 1

Do you remember our last class?

We started paying attention to the many different ways of "looking" in English

1-Look up in a dictionary the highlighted words in exercise 1, then do exercises 1 and 2.

Write your answers on a new document, not here! The title? "Ways of looking"

Task 2

Last class we also read "The only way is forward" and we worked on qualities and synonyms

These exercises are related to the ones we worked last class

Complete all of them on your document. The title? "Vocabulary: challenges"

Take a look

Present simple and present continuous again???

Ok, nothing new here! And, even more, we revised this in class!

but

What is this? Oh! fortunately we learnt this in our previous quarantine classes...

keep on looking

Still nothing new! We revised past simple and continuous in class before so...no problem here!!

Are those your teacher's fingers?

mmm...complicated? not yet!

Things are a little bit more complicated now

But fortunately we also revised this in class!

Check your folders!!

Pay attention here, these tenses are a little complicated

What´s this?

This is a new tense, past perfect. Let´s see...

It seems this is somehow the past of the past

But don´t worry we will work with this tense in detail next class.

Now

The following exercises are multiple tense. It means that you have to choose between all the tenses presented today! title? "Tenses"

Past simple

Past Perfect

The structure is: Had + 3rd column

Last Task

The following exercises are multiple tense. It means that you have to choose between all the tenses presented today! title? "Tenses" part 2

-Stop miss!! Enough!!

-Ok, Ok, you are right.

Thank you kids!

-You have a lot to do but remember to write to me in case you have any doubts.

-Pay attention on your assignment: write the title for each exercise!

-Miss we can´'t shake hands!

-Oooops, sorry!

Until next week!!
