Gaia (Earth goddess) formed from chaos and gave birth to Uranus (the sky).they became the first husband and wife. They birthed monsters; creatures with 100 arms and cyclops. Fearing them, Uranus hid them deep within Earth. Gaia felt sad since she loved her kids and plotted to destroy her husband. When Uranus was resting, Gaia had one of their sons, Kronos, come out and kill him. Kronos ate his kids out of fear and so his wife and mother hid one of his kids (Zeus) on Crete. When he was grown, he brought an army of Gaia's monsters and other gods to overthrow Kronos. In the process, the golden men that were created were killed. Zeus freed his siblings and married Hera and built Olympus where he ruled everything. he then had other kids and soon the world was full of gods, so Zeus created a second type of man from silver, but they were foolish and dangerous, so they were hidden in the underworld. Then he created bronze men, but they were too aggressive and killed each other, so Zeus hid them. Next, there were a race of heroes that are the subjects of many myths,
