The main character is Liesel, a young girl who lives with her foster parents and later on lives with Max, a Jew on the run.
If I Stay

- life changing car accident, putting Mia into a coma and killing her old family, putting her into a deep depression that her flee Oregon ans go to Julliard without telling Adam
