What is Fourth Wave Feminism?

Fourth Wave Feminism?
Fourth Wave feminists are mostly made up of the younger generation. This younger generation grew up with the idea of feminism that was passed down from previous generations. The fourth wave feminism incorporates many of the ideas from 2nd and 3rd waves of feminism. Technology has certainly played a major role in the fourth wave of feminism but has created quite the controversy. This so called "hashtag activism" has been the cause of digital forums that create community, foster debate, and encourage IRL action. Another term that is prominent in fourth wave feminism is “sex positive” which can be interpreted in many different ways. For most, it represents having positive attitudes about sex and feeling comfortable with one’s own sexual identity and with the sexual behaviors of others.
