Aiden's Kwanzaa Thingy

People Who Celebrate it

Kwanzaa is celebrated by African people of/or African Descendants. It's usually celebrated in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Mozambique and Zimbabwe.

Kwanzaa was made by Dr. Maulana Karenga in 1966 to bring African-Americans together as a community.

The Creator

Celebrating Kwanzaa consists of dancing , putting up a Kinara, singing and at the end of the day, a huge feast!

How To Celebrate it

A Kinara is a candle holder that holds seven candles:

-One black one

-Three red ones

-Three green ones

The Kinara

The meaning of the black candle stands for the people, the red for their struggle, and green for their future.
