At the end of Fiscal year 17/18, D7 Right of Way was 100% complaint on the QAR, met 100% of the Core Process Measures (CPM), attained all all FTC goals and D7 ROW placed in the top quartile in the Employee Survey. There were significant challenges, but we pulled through and pushed our new Secretary and ourselves to the top.

Dare to Know
The Florida Legislature and then-Governor Jeb Bush passed the strongest protections against eminent domain abuse anywhere in the nation. with a state constitutional amendment preventing eminent domain for solely private gain.
Princess Wells, like Kelo, owned a well-maintained little pink house near the water in Riviera Beach. The city wanted to bulldoze her entire neighborhood to make way for a yacht club and other private development. Like Susette, Princess fought hard. The City filed takings one day before the state law went into effect, but a court later ruled against Riviera Beach and in favor of Princess. Although no longer painted pink, Princess continues to enjoy her home in peace to this day.
