The UN's help is needed because Fiji doesn't have enough money to pay for dams and things to help with flood control. The UN could donate money to help pay for the dams.
If this isn't solved then people could get hurt even more, more people could die and more homes would be ruined. This would be bad for Fiji and the people there.
The first step is to create a building plan for the dams. The second is to get the donated money and start building the dams. Third, the flooding stops and Fiji gets money. Fourth, Fiji pays back the donated money. Building dams could also help with electricity because it could get power to places in Fiji that don't have it.
The UN will hopefully trade money for Fiji's resources like sugar, fish and gold. The UN would be the source of money for the dams getting built. One dam costs about 60.70 billion dollars.
