Step 1: Open Google Play Store and select the search bar

Step 2: Type "zoom" into the search bar and select the option with the Zoom Logo next to it

Nice! You have now installed Zoom on your mobile device!

Press "Open" and proceed to Sign In to Zoom

Step 3: Press "Install" to download Zoom onto your device

Nice! You have now installed Zoom on your mobile device!

Press "Open" and proceed to Sign In to Zoom

Step 3: Find "ZOOM Cloud Meetings" and press "GET"

Logging In to Zoom

Log in processes for both Android and IOS are similar

Step 1: Once you have launched Zoom, select "Sign In" to log into your Zoom account

If you had used your Google or Facebook account to sign up, sign in to the same account

Step 2: Depending on how you had signed up for Zoom, enter or select the appropriate details or options

You have now logged into Zoom on your mobile device!

Go attend some meetings!

If you had selected one of the sign-in options, a page similar to the image on the left should appear, proceed to press "Launch Zoom" if your Zoom does not launch after a few seconds

When you are in call, you can press the "more" button and it will list a few options. Let's start from "Meeting Settings"

You will have to navigate to the settings page from the home screen of your Zoom app

Audio Settings!

"Auto Connect Audio" turned off means Zoom will ask you to connect to audio when you join a meeting

"Mute My Microphone" will keep your mic muted by default when you join a meeting

"Use Original Audio" means Zoom will no longer filter out sounds such as wind from the fan etc

Video Settings!

"Turn off My video" being turned on means your video will be off by default when you join a meeting. You can turn in on during the meeting!

You can keep your virtual backgrounds for all meetings or only the current one by toggling the options in "Keep Virtual Background For"

If you want, click on your name to rename yourself.

Other than unmuting youself to speak, you also can type out a message in the chat box or send a document/files.

Simple 5-step guide!

Step 1: Open your preferred browser, and type "zoom" into the search bar

Step 3: Click on the blue "Download" button and wait for the installer to finish downloading

Step 2: Under the results, select "Download"

Step 4: Click on the downloaded .exe file to run the installer for Zoom

Step 5: Allow the Zoom Installer to finish initializing (Select "Yes" when prompted to allow the installer to proceed)

If you encounter a pop-up similar to the above, select "Install anyway"

Yay! You have installed Zoom on your computer.

Proceed to Log In!

Step 1: Once you have launched Zoom, select "Sign In" to log into your Zoom account

If all is done correctly, a window similar to the image above should pop up! Go ahead and select the "Launch Zoom" and "Open Zoom Meetings" button to log into your Zoom account!

How to mute, unmute and set virtual backgrounds?

Basic Audio Settings

When you join a call: you will see this page:

It tells Zoom to automatically connect to your microphone the next time you join a call

To automatically join calls in the future without this prompt:

Clicking this button will allow you to test whether your microphone and speaker are working

To test your speaker and microphone:

You will land on this page, where you will be asked if you can hear the song being played

Testing your mic and speaker

If you can hear the song, click yes. this means your speaker is working. Else...

Select the drop-down button and toggle between available options

Toggling the available options means switching between speakers connected to your laptop. You can see more options if you have external speakers

You will then be asked to test your mic. Try saying "Hello there" and wait for 2 seconds.

If you can hear your voice being played back to you, it means that your mic is working!

What else is there?

You can select the tiny arrow beside the mic icon to open a tray of settings. You can see available mics and speakers. Let's explore some advanced audio settings!

You can lower down background noises using various levels of this automatic filter. You can choose how much you would like to filter. Unless you know which setting is best, it is advisable to let the software do the work!

It is a function to allow participants to split into smaller groups with different calls without joining another meeting.

Step 3. In the meeting, click on the icon with 4 squares.

Step 1. Log into the zoom browser and then go to Settings -> In Meeting Advanced.

Want to see who else is in the same meeting as you? This is how you do it!

1) Click on the "Participants" Button at the bottom of the screen

4) Click on rename. You can also change your profile picture.

2) This screen will appear and this is how you can scroll through the participants in the meeting.

5) Enter your new screen name and click on "Ok" after you are done

3) If you want to rename yourself, hover your mouse over your name and click on "More"

Chat Function
