A biome is a community of plants and animals that have common characteristics for the environment they exist in. They can be found over a range of continents.
Climate:Although Mars is smaller than the Earth, at 11% of Earth's mass, and 50% farther from the Sun than the Earth, its climate has important similarities, such as the polar ice caps, seasonal changes and the observable presence of weather patterns.
Gravity:3.711 m/s²
Atmospheric Pressure:The atmosphere of Mars is the layer of gases surrounding Mars. It is composed mostly of carbon dioxide. The atmospheric pressure on the Martian surface averages 600 pascals (0.087 psi; 6.0 mbar), about 0.6% of Earth's mean sea level pressure of 101.3 kilopascals (14.69 psi; 1.013 bar)
Atmospheric Gases:Carbon dioxide: 95.32 percent.
Nitrogen: 2.7 percent.
Argon: 1.6 percent.
Oxygen: 0.13 percent.
Carbon monoxide: 0.08 percent.
Also, minor amounts of: water, nitrogen oxide, neon, hydrogen-deuterium-oxygen, kryp

Tundras are among Earth's coldest, harshest biomes. Tundra ecosystems are treeless regions found in the Arctic and on the tops of mountains, where the climate is cold and windy and rainfall is scant. Tundra lands are snow-covered for much of the year, until summer brings a burst of wildflowers.
