Eva Beem was born on May 21, 1932 in Leeuwarden, Holland. She lived with her parents named Hartog and Rosette Beem. Eva only had one sibling, which was her younger brother named Abraham Beem.

Eva lived with both of her parents and her brother. Eva was older than her brother Abraham who was five years old. Eva was three years older than him.

- Some of the struggles Eva Beem and her family went through were that the Germans invaded Holland
- These Germans seperated the Jews
- Along that, many people bcame poor because they demolished their businesses and other of their employments
- Eva and her family decided to go into hiding after they found out what was going on to their society
- Eva's parents decided to move her and her little brother to a village and they changed their identity to protect themselves

What I learned
Something that I have learned along from researching and discovering more about Eva Beem is how upsetting all of the different struggles her and her family went through. Eva Beem was just and ordinary little girl that wanted to live a beautiful life. It also made me believe that you have the ability to do anything if you set your mind into it and give it your all.
Did she survive?
Unfortunatly Eva did not survive the Holocaust but was murdered along with her brother Abraham the second they got to the concentration camp, Auschwitz. She was only 8 years old.
