The courts in new zealand are the Supreme court , the court of appeal,the high court and the district court, but The main court in New zealand is the supreme court.

Courts have many roles including criminal law, protecting the rights of individuals, making sure that government stays within the law and explaining the law to the people. Courts also sentence criminals and give justice to the people. These are the roles the courts play.

11 to 12 years -Can be left alone for up to 3 hours. If kept alone for a longer time, an elder of the age of 14 years and above should be with the child. 13 to 15 years, children may be left alone but not overnight. 16 to 17 Years - May be left alone up to two nights but no more. than that

The High Court is the highest court in New Zealand that is able to hear cases before any appeals.
The High Court also hears appeals from a number of other courts, such as the District Court and Family Court.
