Translocation Down Syndrome:

Down syndrome can occur when a part of chromosome 21 becomes attached onto another chromosome. This results in having the usual two copies of chromosome 21, but they also have additional genetic material from chromosome 21.

Trisomy 21:

This occurs when they have 3 copies of chromosome 21 instead of two copies.
