Welcome. Today, I will be talking about the Roman Empire.

The ancient Olympic Games were initially a one-day event. In the 5th century B.C., the Games were extended again to cover five days. The ancient Games included running, long jump, shot put, javelin, boxing, and equestrian events.

The Roman Empire only lasted about 1000 years but it left a mark on today's modern world.
