Snowboard is a board made of wood on which you ride on snow. Your feet are fastened to the snowboard, so if you fall down, you have bad luck.

People don't use it very much yet, but it's a very funny winter sport. You can make tricks or ride normally.

Was invented by Tom Sims, who was born in California.

He had three children.

He was born in 1950 and died at the age of 62.

The snowboard was invented in 1965 when Sherman Poppen attached two skis, attached a rope to the tip, and created the first model of the snowboard, called a "snurfer".
