We aim to make barangays and other communities use their water resources properly and effectively.
We envision to decrease number of diseases that are causes of improper hygiene.
Our project aims to promote:
KALINISAN
KALUSUGAN
KAPALIGIRAN
We are very concern on the welfare of our fellow Filipinos.
Annually, around 6,000 Filipinos die prematurely from such diseases. In fact, diarrhea is the country’s second leading cause of death, the Department of Health (DOH) stressed.
Unsafe water kills more people than violence and wars each year, the United Nations said. Combined with poor sanitation, it is the world’s “second biggest killer of children.”
As of 2010, 16% of Filipino households lacked access to clean and potable water, the National Statistical Coordination Board reported.
Every 21 seconds, a child dies globally from water-related illnesses, international non-profit organization Water.org estimated. This is mostly due to water contaminated by fecal matter – because many families still lack toilets.
Common diseases:
1. Cholera
2. Amoebiasis
3. Dysentery
4. Intestinal worms
5. Dental Diseases
(other General Diseases)
"Research on first impressions shows people look at not just how you comport yourself, but how you present yourself," said Susan RoAne, author of "How to Work a Room." Advice on job interviews often emphasizes presentable clothes and a trim haircut, but fresh breath and a clean scent are must-haves, too.
Caring for your body regularly can reduce body odor and improve your personal appearance, subsequently improving others' perceptions of you. This is particularly important in situations in which proper etiquette is expected or required, such as at work or school. Good personal hygiene is also helpful in improving your own self-image.
