Synopsis
Libya is a land of revolt. Ottoman and Italian Occupation was familiar. Yet the Ottomans did not try to suppress them. The Italians enraged the Libyans, thus a war was born. It all started with invasion, the Libyan discrimination, persecution, death, and thus the cycle of oppression was born.

During the war, Libyan resistance groups fought against Italian rule. They were treated as animals instead of humans, and many war crimes were committed against them. The Italians spent years and months planning the invasion and oppression of Libyan People.

This marks the end of the war yet while Libya lost, its people would not give up. They would never forget the hundreds of thousands who died in concentration camps, Death marches, and random acts of violence.
By 1931 half of the population of Italian conqured lands were stationed in concentration camps throughout Libya This happened simply because they were Libyans,
Italy starts the invasion and has some victory. Back home the Italians beleive that Italy is in fact doing Libya a favor.

During the allied liberation of Libya, resistance fighters aided allied troops.
Italians succesfully conquered all of fezzan. This marks the turning point in the war. Victory seems inevitble for the colonizers.

Impact
The only country to intervene against italy was the ottoman empire. All other powers did not wish to get involved due to how recently the Great War had hapened. No U.S Intervention, No E.U existed, No other countries cared. While there are no major commemorative events for the genocide, many towns, universities and books have been made to commemerate the sacrifice and commitment of the Libyan Resistance Leaders.
