Moana and Maui enter the realm of monsters and find Maui's hook on the back of the giant crab, Tamatoa. They get it back after a short battle. They also battle a ship of small coconut warriors that try to steal the Heart of Tafiti.
Moana and Maui meet Te Ka and begin to battle.
Moana comes home to her island with her new boat, and the island is restored to its former life.

Moana's grandmother is the mentor because she gives her advice, guidance and a necklace to hold the heart

Tests
Moana is surprised when Te Ka is transformed into Te Fiti once the heart is restored. Te Fiti rewards both Moana with a new boat and Maui with a new hook.
Moana's grandmother reappears to her as a spirit, and gives her back the heart of Te Fiti.
