Rocky Planets

SOLID SURFACE

They are rocky, mountainous planets, also known as terrestrial planets, they have a solid surface.

They are gas giants and therefore lack an Earth-like surface. If you have a solid inner core, it is likely only the size of Earth.

Mercury: oxygen (O2), sodium (Na), hydrogen (H2), helium (He) and potassium (K).

Venus - Shrouded in thick, toxic clouds of sulfuric acid.

Earth: 78 percent nitrogen, 21 percent oxygen, and 1 percent other ingredients

Mars: carbon dioxide (CO 2), argon (Ar), nitrogen (N 2), and a small amount of oxygen and water vapor.

They are composed of molecular hydrogen and atomic helium.

They do not have rings around because they don't have a lot of moons.

They have rings where their moons are.

Near the sun the ice sublimates due to the high temperature, the only elements capable of existing in solid form are the densest and whose sizes remain small.

Far from the sun, the temperature is so cold that the ice does not sublimate, being the perfect setting for the formation of large, low-density gaseous bodies (ice is less dense than heavy elements such as silicon, iron, etc.).
