Setting up...
Get into groups of 4-5
Number yourselves in your group, starting with the person with the longest hair as #1, and the shortest hair as #4/5. Remember your number, because you will need it for the game.
Before each round, I will call out a number. If I call your number, you are the WRITER for this round.
I will read a sentence out loud.
USING ASL, discuss with your team how to write the sentence in proper GLOSS. The WRITER will write the GLOSSED sentence on your team's board.
The WRITER will stand and quickly write the GLOSSED sentence on the big white board.
Bang on the board (3 hits TOPS) to signify you're done.
If your team finishes first, AND your GLOSS is correct, you will get one point for your team. If your GLOSS is incorrect, you will go back to your team and keep trying until you get it right.
If your team can ALSO sign the sentence correctly, you will get an additional point. However, if you can't sign it and another team CAN, they can steal that point.
The team with the most points after 10 sentences WINS.
