Why is it Important for People in our community to be aware?

The importance of being aware

People need to become more aware of the problems and discrimination that GNC people face. They can also be aware of what actually happens within their community, not just what they want to believe. After becoming aware of the things that GNC members face, we can then acknowledge the negative effects they face due to all the hate that they encounter.

What Can We Do For Support?

Cisgender people can help support members of the GNC community.

Here are some ways people can help:

-refer to people by their proper name/ pronouns.

-turn down/stop slurs if they hear them.

-teach others to become more aware and stand up

for the GNC members in their community too
