how did this movement evolve
some long term effects that occurre after the civil war was the abolishment of slavery,the formation of black right industralization and new innovations.Since the plantation in the south had no slaves they had no reliable source of labor continue working the fields.this eventually led to the decline of plantations and the rise of industrilization.
The southern part of the United States was vastly different from the new england area.for example the economy in the south was heavily dependent on agriculture and farming. Thus, many people worked on large plantations to grow crops.
the civil rights movement began in the 1950s.in the 1890s and early 1900 african americans have been debating the best way on how to get their rights to be freed from slavery booker T. Washington felt the the african american should focus on gaining their economic rights first then work to gain their politicial rights.
