Activities

We conduct training programs to impart skills in effectively managing water retention, soil fertility, seed treatment, yield management, and pest management.

There are over 1500 dedicated, trained trainers across the country to reach out to the farming community.

SSIAST is active in 16 states of India- Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand ,Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Orissa, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhanda, West Bengal .

Border Area Development Program in Nadia District, West Bengal

Seven villages of Nadia District became fully organic. 506 farmers were trained. In 987 Bighas Natural farming Techniques are being applied.

Agri-Clinic and Agri-business Training program is a two-months free training program that provides a hands-on, skill-based education in sustainable agriculture.

SSIAST TRUST is a nodal training Institute for Karnataka. It is approved by MANAGE, an organisation of Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India.

The National Council for Organic Farmers, Govt. of India has approved SSIAST, of The Art of Living, as an authorized Regional Council for certifying our farmer groups with the status of Organic Farmers, under the PGS system.
